Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use Reko Study®.

Last updated: September 2025

1) Our commitment

Reko Study® aims to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines wherever reasonably possible. We design for clarity, consistency, keyboard access, sufficient contrast, and screen-reader support.

2) Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with meaningful headings, labels, and landmarks.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, dialogs, games, and forms; visible focus states.
  • High-contrast themes and a built-in dark mode.
  • Descriptive link text and alt text for informative images.
  • Consistent layouts, components, and messaging.
  • Regular QA for new features, including keyboard checks and colour contrast tests.

3) Conformance status

We are working towards partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some content may not yet fully meet the standard. See “Known limitations”.

4) Known limitations

  • Legacy images/diagrams: Some older items may have incomplete or generic alt text. We’re updating these during content refreshes.
  • PDF resources (when added): Some PDFs may lack full tagging/structure. We plan to provide HTML versions or tagged PDFs.
  • Third-party embeds: YouTube videos, ads, and analytics are third-party. We choose accessible options where possible but cannot control every aspect.
  • Games & interactive tools: We’re improving ARIA roles, instructions, and focus order to ensure full keyboard and screen-reader use.

5) Technical compatibility

Reko Study works with modern browsers and operating systems. We test on recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (desktop & mobile). Older browsers may not receive full support.

6) Requesting accessible formats or assistance

If you need information on this site in a different format (e.g., large print, accessible PDF, audio description), or need help using a feature, please contact us or email dev@rekoapps.com . We aim to respond within 10 working days.

7) Feedback & reporting issues

Found a barrier? Tell us what you were trying to do, the page URL, and any assistive tech/browser details. It helps us fix things faster.

8) Enforcement & further help (UK)

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice on your rights under the Equality Act 2010.

9) Planned improvements

  • Audit all interactive games for screen-reader labels and logical focus order.
  • Provide captions/transcripts for tutorial videos.
  • Add accessible alternatives for complex diagrams (data tables or detailed descriptions).

10) Assessment approach

We conduct ongoing self-evaluation and periodic manual checks (keyboard navigation, basic screen-reader flows, contrast). As the platform grows, we plan independent accessibility reviews.
