Our commitment
Reko Study® aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines wherever reasonably possible. We design with clarity, consistency, keyboard access, sufficient contrast, and screen‑reader support in mind.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with meaningful headings and labels
- Keyboard‑navigable menus, forms, and controls
- High‑contrast themes with a built‑in dark mode
- Descriptive link text and alt text for images where informative
- Consistent layouts and focus styles
- Regular QA for new features, including keyboard checks
Conformance status
We are working towards partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some content may not yet fully meet the standard, as noted below.
Known limitations
- Legacy images/diagrams: Some older images may have incomplete alt text. We’re updating these as we revise content.
- PDF resources (when added): Some PDFs might lack full tagging/structure. We plan to provide HTML versions or tagged PDFs.
- Third‑party embeds: YouTube videos, ads, and analytics come from third parties. We choose accessible options where possible but cannot control all aspects.
- Games & interactive components: We are actively improving ARIA roles, focus order, and instructions for mini‑games to ensure full keyboard and screen‑reader support.
Technical compatibility
Reko Study works with modern browsers and operating systems. We test with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile. Older browsers may not receive full support.
Feedback & contact
If you encounter a barrier, please let us know. We typically reply within 10 working days.
Enforcement & further help (UK)
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice on your rights under the Equality Act 2010.
Planned improvements
- Audit all interactive games for screen‑reader labels and logical focus order
- Provide captions/transcripts for tutorial videos
- Offer accessible alternatives for complex diagrams (data tables or text descriptions)
Assessment approach
We perform ongoing self‑evaluation and periodic manual checks (keyboard navigation, screen‑reader basics, contrast). As the platform grows, we plan to conduct independent accessibility reviews.
